Information for Participants

1. Format of the meeting

In addition to the on-site program,
we will be live-streaming sessions from the main lecture room (Room 1).
Live-streamed sessions will be indicated by “【Live】” in the program or on the Confit platform.
Additionally, select presentations will be available for on-demand streaming, as detailed in Section 3.

1)Pre-registered participants
Participants who have already registered and paid for the meeting are asked to download and print your own meeting badge from “Confit”, the online meeting system, prior to the meeting. Please be sure to bring it with you when you come to the meeting site. Badge holders are available at the registration desk.

*1 Honorary members are invited guests and do not need to register for participation.

2. On-demand Distribution

Distribution period:March 25 – April 15, 2025
You can view on-demand distribution through “Confit” during the above period. Please note that some lectures and poster sessions are not available for on-demand distribution. Programs available for on-demand distribution are marked with 【OD】on the program page.

3. Meeting Program

For online participants, please view programs through “Confit”.

4. Proceedings (Abstracts)

The abstracts will be published on the JPS website at a later date.

6. Luncheon Seminar Tickets

Lunch services at Luncheon Seminars will be provided by sponsoring companies and groups.
Ticket distribution will be closed as all the tickets are distributed. To receive the lunch service, you need to get a ticket for each seminar due to limited number of packed lunches offered at a seminar.

1)Notes
A Luncheon Seminar Ticket will be invalid after the start time of each seminar. Please arrive at the seminar rooms before the start time. If you do not show up in the room by the start time, your lunch will be provided to another attendee who does not have a ticket.
2)Attending Luncheon Seminar without tickets
You can attend a Luncheon Seminar without a ticket, however, note that no lunch service will be provided.
7. Exhibition

Commercial and academia exhibition and book selling will be held. If you collect stamps visiting exhibition booths, you have chance to win a special gift. We look forward to your participation in the stamp rally.

8. Young Investigator Award (YIA)
The Young Investigator Award recipients will be selected during the presentations delivered by young investigators who applied for this award during the abstract submission process. The announcement of the award recipients will be made after Closing Ceremony on the final day of the meeting.
9. Physiological Reports Presentation Award、Graduate Student Presentation Award

Six Presentations will be selected from those delivered by graduate students. Three of the selected
presentations will be awarded the Physiological Reports Presentation Award, while the other three will
receive the Graduate Student Presentation Excellence Award. The announcement of the award recipients will be made after Closing Ceremony on the final day of the meeting.

Among candidates who are not selected for the first six presentations, presenters of Short Talks will be selected. The Graduate Student Presentation Award will be presented to the presenters who deliver the most outstanding Short Talk presentations.

Physiological Reports Presentation Award
This award is sponsored by the open-access journal “Physiological Reports,” jointly managed by The
Physiological Society (UK) and the American Physiological Society (USA) and published by Wiley.
Award recipients will be announced during the meeting and will receive a certificate and a cash prize of 250 USD.
After the meeting, recipients will also be featured on the Physiological Reports website and social media platforms.

Graduate Student Presentation Excellence Award
This award is given to presenters who were selected for the Physiological Reports Presentation Award
evaluation but were narrowly placed as runners-up.

Graduate Student Presentation Award
The Graduate Student Presentation Award will be presented to a few presenters who deliver the most
outstanding Short Talk presentations.

10. Undergraduate / High school Students Poster

In addition to regular presentations, we offer opportunities for undergraduate and high school students
to present their research achievements and engage in discussions with researchers. Best Presentation
Awards will be given to outstanding presentations from this group.

12. Internet service and copying
1) Internet service
Free Wi-Fi service is available in the Makuhari Messe.
Available area 2F Central Mall / 2F Esplanade
How to connect (1) Enable the Wi-Fi function of Wi-Fi compatible terminals (smartphones, tablets, PCs).
(2) Select “Messe_Free_Wi-Fi” from the list of connectable SSIDs and connect.
(3) When you launch the browser, the top screen for users will be displayed.
(4) Please check the terms of use and register as a user using your e-mail address.
Supported language Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean
Utilization time “Messe_Free_Wi-Fi” is available 30 minutes access at one time. Once overtime access, Wi-Fi top page will display again. If you want to continue to use, please connect again.

13. Prohibitions

・Photography, video recording, and audio recording are strictly prohibited in presentation rooms. Audio/video recording or using other devices to photograph/record presentation videos being played on the viewing site are strictly prohibited.
・Smoking is prohibited except in designated areas.
・Please refrain from posting contents about the presentations on SNS sites.
・Please set your mobile phones to silent mode or turn them off in presentation rooms.

14. Food trucks

15. Drink service

Drink service will be provided at the exhibition space.
