1. Registration
For Participants with Early or Late Registration
Participants who have completed early or late registration do not need to check in at the reception desk. Please download your meeting badge from Confit print it out, and bring it with you to the venue. Name holders will be available near the reception area. Please note that if your registration fee has not been paid, your registration will be considered invalid. In such cases, you will be required to complete on-site registration at the venue.
ID and password from early or late registration are required.
For On-site Registration
On-site registration will be available as follows. Please complete your registration at the registration desk.

※Please note that the annual membership fee and the meeting registration fee are separate. Participants who wish to submit abstracts must pay both fees. However, the annual membership fee is waived for undergraduate and master’s students.
※Members registering on-site are requested first to visit the JBS Desk to obtain a “Membership Certificate.”
※Lunch is not included in the participation fee.
※Payment for the late registration fee (Sept. 24 – Oct. 10) can only be made by credit card. Bank transfers are not accepted.
※Payment for the on-site registration fee must be made in cash. Credit cards cannot be accepted, so please prepare accordingly.
※Once paid, early, late, and on-site registration fees are non-refundable, regardless of the reason.

Meeting Badge
All participants are required to wear their meeting badge at the meeting venue. Those without a badge will not be admitted.
Please download and print your badge from your Confit My Page in advance and bring it with you.
Name holders will be distributed at the reception desk.
Meeting Program
The Meeting Program will be mailed in advance to members of the Japanese Biochemical Society (JBS) who have paid the current year’s membership fee.
Non-members who wish to purchase a copy may do so at the JBS Secretariat Desk (New Hall, Kyoto International Conference Center), while supplies last. (3,000 JPY per copy)
Non-members who wish to request advance delivery should contact the JBS Secretariat at jbs-ho@jbsoc.or.jp
Online Program & Abstract Search System
The online system will allow participants to search the program and view abstracts (scheduled to open on October 20).
To view full abstracts and use “My Page” features, login credentials (ID and password) are required.
Members: IDs and passwords will be sent by email to those who have paid both the annual membership fee and the conference participation fee.
Non-members: IDs and passwords will be provided upon purchase of the program book (printed version).
Membership Fee Payment & New Membership Applications (JBS Secretariat Desk)
Participants who have not yet paid the JBS annual membership fee are requested to complete payment at the Secretariat Desk (New Hall, Kyoto International Conference Center).
New membership applications will also be accepted at the desk.

2. Luncheon Seminars (Bio-Industry / JBS-Organized Workshops)
Luncheon seminars include lunch; however, as the number of meals is limited, luncheon seminar tickets will be distributed.
For Participants with Advance Reservations
Participants who have reserved in advance via the web will be notified of their winning number by email.
On the day of the meeting, please present the winning notification (printed or on your smartphone) to staff at the Luncheon Seminar Desk to receive your luncheon seminar ticket.
For On-site Registration Participants
Thirty percent of the admission tickets will be distributed on-site each day.
Distribution will end once tickets run out, so please come early to the Luncheon Seminar Desk.

Conference Center Distribution Hours: From 8:15 a.m. each day until tickets are gone
(tickets are issued only for seminars held on that day))
Please note: Luncheon Seminar tickets are exchanged for lunches provided by the companies and organizations co-hosting the luncheon seminars. The number of lunches varies depending on the seminar.
Admission to the Seminar Room
Admission tickets become invalid after the seminar start time. Please be sure to arrive before the session begins.
After the start of the seminar, tickets will be voided and lunches will be provided to participants without tickets. Thank you for your understanding.
If You Do Not Have a Luncheon Seminar Ticket
You may still attend a luncheon seminar without a Luncheon Seminar ticket.
However, lunch will not be provided in this case.
3. Late-breaking Abstracts
Late-Breaking Abstracts submitted during the period from August 4 to August 26, will be presented at the Poster Presentation room. Late-Breaking Abstracts will not be included in printed Program booklet; however, they will be included in Program search & Abstract browsing System.
4. High School Student Presentations
Poster presentations by high school students will take place as follows. Presentations will be reviewed on the day, and outstanding abstracts will be awarded prizes.
- Program: To be published in early October
- Presentation: November 3 (Mon, national holiday), 11:00–12:30, New Hall
- Award Ceremony: November 3 (Mon, national holiday), around 18:00, Room 1
5. Exhibition-Machinery, Chemical Reagents, Books etc.-
You need to register if you plan to attend Exhibition only.

Cloakroom
The cloakroom is available for the storage of your luggage. Please note that valuables, computers and perishable goods cannot be accepted.

There are no bank ATMs inside the venue. Please use nearby convenience stores or other facilities.
Parking
Parking is available at the Kyoto International Conference Center; however, spaces are limited. We kindly ask participants to use public transportation whenever possible.
Announcements
Announcements within the venue will be made only in case of emergency.
7. Support for Participants with Disabilities
The Japanese Biochemical Society provides support to members with disabilities to facilitate their participation in the conference.

8. Participants with Children
Day Care Service
A day care room will be available for participants attending with children (fee required).
If you wish to use this service, please read the Terms of Use and submit your application in advance.

*Lunch for children is not provided. Please pick up your child during lunch time or bring a meal.

Fees:
・500 JPY per hour (tax included) per child. Any fraction of an hour will be rounded up.
・Payment should be made in cash on the first day of use; please prepare the exact amount to avoid the need for change.
・Once a reservation is made, a childcare worker will be dispatched. Fees apply even if you cancel on the day or the actual use time is shorter than reserved.
・If you need to extend the care period, additional charges will apply.

Childcare Room
Reservation is not required. Childcare room is available for having meal or take breaks with your child/ children, or for diaper-changing. Please note that you must stay with your child/ children when using the room as there will be no staff in attendance. Please also note that JBS2025 will not be responsible for any accidents that may occur during your use of this room.

9. Prohibitions
Photography / Recording
At the meeting, any recording, filming, photographing, transferring, or sharing using software, smartphones, or other devices is prohibited without the permission of the presenter or organizer.
Such actions constitute a violation of copyright and portrait rights and may result in civil claims, fines, or criminal penalties.
Mobile Phones and Communication Devices
Use of communication devices for phone calls is prohibited in the lecture halls.
Please set all devices to silent mode to ensure no sound disrupts sessions.
Smoking
Smoking is not allowed indoors. Please use the designated outdoor smoking areas if needed.
