Travel Grants for Early Career Researchers Overseas

MBSJ2024 will provide travel grants for early career researchers residing overseas.
The amount of the grant will be 100,000 JPY for those residing in Asia and 200,000 JPY for those residing in Europe, the US, and Australia. Approximately 20 applicants (tentative) will be selected from those whose abstracts are accepted through a rigorous screening process.
Eligibility
①Must have been a member of MBSJ for at least three years.
②Must have been residing overseas for at least two years (regardless of position) and within ten years of receiving their degree as of November 26 (Tue), 2024.
However, life events will be taken into consideration.
③Those who received travel grants for early career researchers overseas at MBSJ2023 are not eligible. (Those who received travel grants before MBSJ2022 are eligible to apply again.)
The grant will be funded from the valuable budget of MBSJ society. We ask the recipients of the grant for active participation and contribution to the meeting, including lively discussions with oral and poster presenters.
Applications for the travel grant will be accepted from July 1 (Mon) to July 31 (Wed) according to the instructions below.
Notice of acceptance will be sent in early September.
