Ethical Guidelines for Annual Meeting Participation
Participation in the annual meeting requires adherence to the MBSJ Code of Ethics, which was established by the 19th and 20th Boards of Directors in 2016, enacted on January 10, 2017, with Item 3 added by the 23rd Board of Directors on April 23, 2024.

*If you experience or witness any actions that significantly deviate from these guidelines, please report them to the secretariat of annual meeting. Each case will be carefully investigated, and measures such as warnings or restrictions on entry to the meeting venue may be taken against the individuals involved.
[Notice: Name Badges and Pocket Programs WILL NOT be Mailed.]
Previously, we mailed name badges and pocket programs to those who completed Early Registration by early October. However, this year, we will not send any materials to the registrants before the meeting.
Please note the following instructions, and we appreciate your understanding.
〇Name Badge
PDF of the name badge will be available to download from the online registration system in mid-November. Please print the PDF yourself and bring it to the venue. Name holders will be distributed at the venue.
*Name badges can also be picked up at the venue, but we strongly recommend that you print it in advance to avoid congestion.
*On-site registrants will receive their name badge at the registration desk at the venue same as previous meetings.
〇Pocket Program
Pocket programs will be distributed at the venue, without mailing in advance.
In accordance with the above change, we kindly ask all participants to proceed online registration by themselves.

*To submit a general abstract, Early Registration as “Regular Member”, “Student Member” or “Non-member (with abstract submission” is required.
Tax category of registration fees/ members: untaxed, non-members: tax included.
Registration fees does not include food and/or beverage expenses.
* Registration fees are different from annual membership fees.
Please note that the payment of both fees is required to submit an abstract as a member.
* You can proceed with the membership application and registration/abstract submission simultaneously. In that case, please select either the "Regular Member" or “Student Member” category to proceed with registration.
* Access to online abstracts is included in the registration fees for all categories.
* Late/On-site registration fee can only be paid by credit card online or cash at the registration desk at the venue. Please note that payment by bank transfer will not be accepted for Late/On-site registration.
* On-site registrants will receive their name card at the venue.

How to Register
1. Account Registration
- Register a new account via the button located at the bottom of this page.
- A confirmation e-mail with a six-digit code will be automatically sent to the e-mail address you registered. Enter the code to complete your account registration.
* If you are using a free email address, the email may be automatically sorted into your spam folder.
If you do not receive an email from the system in your inbox folder, please check another folder.
2. Registration
Please proceed to registration for the meeting.
・Registration Category
Please select a registration category.
If you are in the process of applying for a membership or plan to become a member, please select the “Regular Member” or “Student Member”. You may proceed with registration at the same time as the admission procedure. If you select the “Undergraduate Student” category, please upload a scan data or a photo of your student ID.
・Membership Number
If you are a regular member or student member, please enter your six-digit membership number.
The membership numbers of MBSJ are printed on the envelope in which MBSJ journal is sent.
If you are a non-member, please enter “999999”.
If you are under application procedure: Please enter “000000”.
If you forgot your membership number: Please enter “888888”.
・Date of Payment of Membership Fee
If you are a regular member or a student member, please enter the date of payment of the annual membership fee.
For non-members: Enter “2024/0/0”.
If you have paid but do not know the payment date: Enter “2024/1/3”.
If you requested a payment slip but not yet received: Enter “2024/1/2”.
If you are under application procedure: Enter “2024/1/1”.
If you forgot your membership number or the date of payment of annual membership fee, please contact directly to the secretariat of MBSJ society.

Payment Method
1. Credit Card Payment
(Available for Early Registration and Late/On-site Registration)
Payment by the following credit cards is available for online registration.
Visa, MasterCard, JCB, AMEX, Diners
2. Bank Transfer (Available ONLY for Early Registration)
After completing the online registration, please transfer the registration fee to the account displayed on the screen (also indicated in the registration confirmation email). Payment can also be made via ATM. The displayed account is unique to each registration, so please ensure you transfer the fee only for the corresponding registrant. If you have any questions about ATM operations, please contact your financial institution.
Only transfers from Japanese banks are accepted.
Payment Due Date for Early Registration: October 2 (Wed), 2024
Note: Please bear the transfer fees yourself.
・Registration will be completed only after the payment of the registration fee. If your payment cannot be confirmed by the above due date, your Early Registration will be invalid, and Late/On-site Registration will be required.
・Invoices, receipts and certificates of participation can be downloaded from the registration system in PDF format. Please note that these documents will not be mailed in principle.
* The certificate of participation will be available for download from the first day of the meeting.
・Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable for any reason. Be careful when selecting your registration category.
